in the region, and Turkey hopes that fighting sides will reach a
compromise which ease recent tensions in the neighboring country,
Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu told reporters in Istanbul
late Sunday.
"Iran is very important for us. It is one of our neighbors we
have an complicated past with. We believe Iran will reach the most
accurate result within healthy consultations and mutual talks inside
the country," Davutoglu told reporters when asked about the recent
developments in Iran. .
"Turkey will respect any decision of the Iranian people within this
framework," he added, Anatolian News Agency reports.
