President Serzh Sargsyan sent a congratulatory message to Mahmoud
Ahmadinejad on the occasion of his re-election as President of the
Islamic Republic of Iran.
The message states:
"On behalf of the people of the Republic of Armenia and my own behalf
I cordially congratulate you and the friendly people of Iran on the
occasion of your re-election as President of the Islamic Republic of
Iran and wish success and new achievements.
I am confident that together with you we will continue our
united efforts aimed at the deepening and strengthening of the
Armenian-Iranian relations in different areas, which is dictated by
traditional and mutual respect of our two peoples.
I congratulate you once again on this momentous occasion and wish
you all the best, happiness and productive work."
