ARMENIA-CAPTURED AZERBAIJANI SOLDIER RAFIG HASANOV SENDS LETTER TO HIS FAMILY

Baku. Kamala Guliyeva – APA. Representatives of the International
Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Armenia visited Azerbaijani
soldier Rafig Rahman Hasanov, who was captured by the Armenian military
units on October 8, 2008, Rahman Hasanov, soldier’s father told APA.

He said ICRC representatives delivered him Rafig’s answer to his
letter written on June 5. "The letter was very short. He said he was
happy to receive my letter and congratulated his brother on newborn
baby in his family".

Hasanov said ICRC representatives didn’t give details about the
health of his son. "They told nothing, but we heard from television
that Rafig is tortured in Armenia. These reports afflict us".

Soldier of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry N military unit Rafig
Rahman Hasanov, 20 was captured by the Armenian military units on
October 8, 2008 in the contact line between the troops in Gazakh
Region.
