NEW SCIENCE RESEARCH FROM A. POGHOSYAN AND COLLEAGUES DISCUSSED
Journal of Mathematics
May 26, 2009
"In this paper the asymptotic behavior of the Krylov-Lanczos
interpolation is investigated," scientists in Yerevan, Armenia report.
"Exact asymptotic constants of the errors are obtained on the
subintervals where the 2-periodic extension of the approximated
function is smooth. In particular, the fast convergence of this
method is observed and examined in a special case," wrote A. Poghosyan
and colleagues.
The researchers concluded: "Some numerical results are presented."
Poghosyan and colleagues published their study in Analysis
and Applications (ASYMPTOTIC BEHAVIOR OF THE KRYLOV-LANCZOS
INTERPOLATION. Analysis and Applications, 2009;7(2):199-211).
