Today RA Police published information about its activities led to the
forthcoming presidential elections, the verifications in electors’
list.
According to it 1923 electoral units are formed 45 days before the
elections. Electors’ Register was sent to the Central Electoral
Committee to put it in the official website. 40 days before the
elections the electoral list was published and pasted on the walls
of each electoral unit.
According to the police station, they verify the mistakes in the
lists of regional registers. On January 21 "HayPost" received the
information list of the electors in Yerevan, on 25: Shirak, Lori,
Tavush, Syunik and Vayots Dzor, and on 30: Ararat, Armavir, Kotayk,
Gegharkunik and Aragatsotn. The date, time and place of their electoral
units are mentioned.
They checked and announced as invalid the data of dead people. In
sum, after the corrections, there are 2.311.240 potential electors
in Armenia.
