The ex-Armenian ambassador to Canada Ara Papyan came to this conclusion
after making some calculations. He stated this during the parliamentary
hearings on the Armenian and Turkish relations.
According to him, a special working group was set up during the
conference in Paris in January 1919 which had assessed the damage
inflicted on the Armenian people.
