We will support Georgia with every possibility so that it can realize its European aspirations – Georgia’s success is of very great importance for Armenia, – this was stated by Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan in Brussels at the EU enlargement summit organized by Euronews.
“Inasmuch as Georgia is a candidate country and, to speak frankly, when adopting the law on the start of the process of accession to the European Union, we were inspired precisely by the decision of the European Union and by Georgia’s aspiration to become a full member. For us, for Armenia, Georgia’s success is of very great importance. This is very important for the perception by our citizens of our European policy and of our European process,” Pashinyan stated.
According to him, Armenia’s goal is to obtain the status of an EU candidate country and subsequently full membership.
