Turkey wants to see peace, stability and prosperity strengthened in the South Caucasus, Turkish Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Ibrahim Yumaklı said in Yerevan.

He expressed hope that closer ties between Turkey and Armenia and an accelerated normalization process would lead to significant achievements for both countries and the region as a whole.

“Since March 2026, the process of normalizing relations between Armenia and Turkey has gained new momentum. Meetings between our esteemed President and Mr. Pashinyan are continuing with the aim of taking the normalization process to a higher level,” Yumaklı said.
