Armenia has repeatedly reaffirmed its readiness to continue mutually beneficial cooperation within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said during the extended-format meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council.
Pashinyan participated in the meeting remotely.
“We have repeatedly reaffirmed Armenia’s readiness to continue mutually beneficial cooperation within the EAEU, aimed at strengthening economic stability and ensuring the sustainable development of the broader region,” he said.
Pashinyan also emphasized the importance of Armenia’s integration into the international railway network and noted that he had discussed the unblocking of regional transport links with his partners.
“During the restricted-format meeting, I informed my colleagues about certain nuances regarding the process of unblocking regional transport links – developments arising from the establishment of peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan. We anticipate specific decisions that will, in particular, lead to increased efficiency in Armenia’s railway system,” the Prime Minister said.
