During the first half of the current year, the company “Electric Networks of Armenia” paid about 12.6 billion AMD in taxes and duties to the RA state budget.
Romanos Petrosyan, the interim manager of the National Economic and Social Committee, wrote about this on his Facebook page, emphasizing that this is about 62% more than the payments made in the same period of the previous year (1st semester of 2025).
“In the same period of the last year, before the initiation of administrative proceedings against the HEC by the PSC, the sum of payments to the state budget amounted to around 7.8 billion AMD. The HEC no longer serves our people,” wrote Petrosyan.
