The Television and Radio Commission convened another session on July 16. After approving the agenda of the session, the RAH discussed the following issue:
Adoption of an administrative act against “RADIO VIBE” LLC (final stage of administrative proceedings No. 4 initiated on the basis of applications).
In 2026 In two applications of Lyudmila Shahinyan, director of “EGALITE” LLC, submitted to the Commission on June 24, it is mentioned about the apparent violation of the provisions of the Law on “Audiovisual Media” by “RADIO VIBE” LLC.
According to the first application, the director of “RADIO VIBE” SP company, bearing the responsibility of drawing up the licensing application implemented through the tender and submitting reliable data to the Commission, drew up and submitted to the Commission an application for participation in the tender for the use of the 106.9 MHz frequency, which included false content.
According to the second application, the applicant stated that according to the terms of the license, most of the Broadcaster’s programs must be of its own production. According to the terms of the license, radio shows, programs with audio readings of Armenian literature must be in Armenian, and special attention must be paid to educational programs for the youth, scientific and technical achievements and their study.
As a result of multi-faceted, full and objective examination of the administrative proceedings, study and assessment of the obtained evidence, the commission recorded that the combined assessment of the facts and evidence obtained during the administrative proceedings did not substantiate the applicant’s claim that the broadcaster allowed the violations provided for by the provisions of the law.
The commission decided to terminate the proceedings against “RADIO VIBE” LLC based on the application of “EGALITE” LLC.
This decision can be appealed to the Television and Radio Commission or the Administrative Court of the Republic of Armenia within two months from the date of entry into force.
