RA Ambassador to the USA Narek Mkrtchyan had a meeting with the head of the Foreign Agricultural Service, Daniel Whitley, at the US Department of Agriculture, the RA Embassy in the USA reports.
During the meeting, the possibilities of expanding cooperation in the field of agriculture between Armenia and the United States were discussed.
The possibilities of exporting Armenian agricultural products to the US market were considered, referring to market entry procedures, existing regulations, as well as prerequisites for export promotion.
The prospects of establishing business ties and developing mutually beneficial cooperation between private sector companies of the two countries were also discussed.
