Today, the Anti-Corruption Court, under the leadership of judge Sargis Dadoyan, is holding another court session with joint criminal proceedings.
Let’s remind that the powers of judge Givi Hovhannisyan in this case have been suspended, and now Sargis Dadoyan will continue the trial.
The case of the so-called “Diesel”, the resurrected fake, by which President Serzh Sargsyan was already acquitted once, is being investigated.
It should be reminded that the authority of Vahe Misakyan, the judge who acquitted Serzh Sargsyan in this case, has already been terminated under another pretext.
At the beginning of the previous court session, defense attorney Amram Makinyan reminded the court again that during the preparation of the materials, the deadlines for the initiation of the case were violated, and this was recorded by the Appellate Court.
Next, the court moved to the stage of examination of the evidence, the order and order of their examination.
The public prosecutors presented their order of examination of the evidence.
At today’s court session, the defense attorney of the 3rd President of the Republic of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, Amram Makinyan, requested to conduct the court sessions in the absence of Serzh Sargsyan, in the presence of the defense attorneys.
“At the same time, we undertake to dutifully ensure Serzh Sargsyan’s presence at court hearings if necessary,” said Amram Makinyan.
Barsegh Beglaryan also made a similar motion.
The court granted the motion and allowed not to appear in the court hearings during the trial, that is, at the stage of examining the evidence. The court session was adjourned. The next session will be held on September 10 at 3:30 p.m.
