Armenia international Eduard Spertsyan has undergone a medical ahead of his reported transfer from Russian champions FC Krasnodar to Saudi Arabian club Al Ahli, according to Saudi sports daily Arriyadiyah.
The newspaper’s journalist Ahmed Al Lukan reported that Spertsyan completed his medical examination in Portugal on Monday and signed a contract with the Saudi club.
According to the report, the agreement runs for four years and includes an option to extend it by an additional season.
Spertsyan is expected to join Al Ahli during the club’s pre-season training camp in Austria.
During the 2025/26 season, the Armenian midfielder made 42 appearances in all competitions for Krasnodar, scoring 14 goals and providing 18 assists.
