Armenia has extradited a person accused of large-scale fraud to Uzbekistan following a request from the Uzbek authorities.
According to Armenia’s Prosecutor General’s Office, Prosecutor General Anna Vardapetyan granted the extradition request submitted by the competent authorities of Uzbekistan.
The suspect, identified by the initials Z.G., who is accused of committing large-scale fraud, was surrendered to the Uzbek authorities on June 23, 2026, the Prosecutor General’s Office said.
