Azerbaijan is putting forward a new precondition to the Armenian authorities, namely the so-called “right of return” issue, according to Marianna Ghahramanyan, spokesperson for the Strong Armenia party.
“The so-called ‘President of the Western Azerbaijan Community’ and member of the Milli Majlis, Aziz Alakbarli, stated today that the so-called ‘issue of the return of Western Azerbaijanis to their native lands’ should become part of the discussions within the framework of the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, as without the restoration of this right, it will be difficult to speak of a strong and lasting peace in the region.’
