The countries of the Group of Seven have agreed to increase arms supplies to Ukraine.
According to TASS, French President Emmanuel Macron made the announcement during a press conference following the G7 summit.
“We have agreed to increase deliveries of air defence systems and additional equipment, interceptor systems, as well as long-range weapons,” Macron said.
According to the French president, during summit discussions, U.S. President Donald Trump emphasised the importance of mobilising the American defence industry and its capacity to provide such equipment.
Macron also noted that several G7 members stressed the importance of establishing licensed weapons production in Ukraine.
