Recently, the results of the IRI survey about the trust people have in Armenian politicians and public figures were published. According to the results of the survey published by the International Republican Institute, Nikol Pashinyan is the leader with 29 percent, followed by philanthropist and Prime Minister candidate Samvel Karapetyan with 8 percent, followed by Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Second President Robert Kocharyan.

Military expert Davit Jamalyan, who during this time follows Nikol Pashinyan’s campaign, the attitude of the majority of the public towards him, is sure that the results of that survey do not reflect the reality.

According to his definition, these polls simply insult the Armenian society, the publication of such results means insulting people and putting them in the place of fools.  These data should not be treated as seriously as, for example, if they say that Nikol Pashinyan has 110 percent support.

“It is obvious that the forces led by Samvel Karapetyan, Gagik Tsarukyan and Robert Kocharyan have a high rating, this is what has thrown Nikol Pashinyan into shocks, so the results of the survey should not be taken seriously,” emphasized Davit Jamalyan.
