ONE TO WATCH

The Armenian soprano, who is on the Jette Parker Young Artists
Programme at the Royal Opera House, will sing the role of one of the
girls in Rise and Fall in the City of Mahagonny and Kate Pinkerton in
Madama Butterfly, both in March. She’s also about to sing the lead in
Le roi de Lahore with the Chelsea Opera Group. She began opera singing
aged four at her dad’s opera studio in Armenia and trained at the
Royal Conversatory of Scotland. “I’m open to the most wonderful
opportunities to come,” she says.
