Ministry of Culture of Georgia will not argue with Church of Armenia

The head of the Ministry of Culture of Georgia, Mikheil Giorgadze said
today that his ministry is not responsible for assigning denominations
to churches. Earlier, Armenia appealed to UNESCO to recognize 450
churches in Georgia as belonging to the Armenian Apostolic Church.
The head of the National Agency for Cultural Heritage Protection,
Nikoloz Antidze said that UNESCO cannot solve issues about the
ownership of cultural heritage.
