YEREVAN, 30 DECEMBER, ARMENPRESS. Consul General of the Republic
of Armenia in Los Angeles Sergey Sarkisov has sent a congratulatory
message to all Armenians on the occasion of New Year and Christmas.

“Dear compatriots, it gives me pleasure to congratulate you on the
New Year and Christmas. The year 2014 is drawing to an end. It was
a year of hard work and preparations for big programs. The passing
year was also a period for carrying out initiatives consolidating
the potential of all Armenians and looking toward the year 2015 as a
nation. The coming year will be an important year for all Armenians
to prove to the world that we are united as one and can solve the
issues of national concern through combined efforts,” Sarkisov said,
as the Consulate General reports to “Armenpress”.

Sarkisov wished Armenians accomplish all their goals next year
since the implementation of everyone’s programs is the achievement
of the Armenian nation. “Together we can do anything. I wish peace
and welfare to all Armenian families and to our homeland. Happy New
Year and Merry Christmas.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
