CANADIAN FM, ARMENIAN AMBASSADOR DISCUSS BILATERAL RELATIONS

On December 22 Canada’s Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird received
Armenian Ambassador to Armenia Armen Yeganian.
At the meeting reference was made to the efforts targeted at the
development of bilateral relations. The parties stressed the importance
of reciprocal visits, including the visit of Jason Kenney, Minister
of Employment and Social Development and Multiculturalism of Canada
and, later on, that of the delegation of the Parliament of Canada to
Armenia, as well as visits of the delegations of National Assembly
of RA and Defense Ministry to Canada.
The interlocutors hailed the cooperation within the framework
of international organizations, particularly the International
Organization of the Francophonie.
A wide range of issues related to Armenian-Canadian cooperation in
2015 was discussed.
