RUSSIAN GAS EXPORTS TO ARMENIA INCREASE BY 5.5%

Exports of Russian gas to Armenia increased from 1.317 billion cubic
meters in January-October 2013 to 1.343 billion cubic meters in
January-October 2014, RIA Novosti reports.

The Armenian energy sector increased gas consumption by 32.9% to 323.6
million cubic meters this year. Gas consumption by cars increased by
6.4% to 352.4 million cubic meters.

The industrial sector reduced gas consumption by 2% to 354.4 million
cubic meters, the population reduced its consumption by 13.8% to
172.9 million cubic meters.
