Export Supporting Organizations Operate Efficiently – Armenian Minis

EXPORT SUPPORTING ORGANIZATIONS OPERATE EFFICIENTLY – ARMENIAN MINISTER

YEREVAN, October 23./ARKA/. Organizations that support exporting of
Armenian produce, started operating long ago and are quite efficient,
Armenia’s minister of economy Karen Chshmarityan said at a government
hour in the parliament.

It is reflected also in diversification of markets, he said.

The government strategy for export oriented industry is implemented
in several fields prioritized to ensure economic flexibility, the
minister said. In general, the strategy aims at sectors where Armenian
may have a relative advantage, he said.

A set of complex measures include search for new markets, creation
of trade houses, clarification of trade regimes, business forums and
exhibitions, technical regulations and quality requirements defined
by partners, Chshmarityan said.

Armenia joined the EEU on October 10. The treaty will come in force
as from January 1, 2015. -0–
