AZERBAIJAN RELEASES ARMENIAN DETAINED IN GAZAKH REGION A MONTH AGO

Baku. Hafiz Heydarov – APA. The Armenian, detained in Gazakh region a
month ago, was handed over to his country.

The State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing Persons
told APA that honoring the norms of international humanitarian law
Azerbaijan handed over Armenian citizen Ananyan Sarkis Norikovich,
born in 1961, who was detained near Kemerli village of Gazakh region
on August 26 to the opposite side in the direction of Bala Jafarli
village of Gazakh region, near the Azerbaijan-Armenia border.

No accident occurred during the process carried out by the Defense
Ministry and the State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and
Missing People through the International Committee of the Red Cross.
