Selim Pass renamed Vardenyats Pass

Selim Pass has been renamed the Vardenyats Pass.

Vaiots Dzor Governor Edgar Ghazaryan left the following message on his
Facebook page:

`After consultations with historians we learned Selim was not a place
name, but a personal name. That barbarian was notorious for his
atrocities and our picturesque places and historical monuments must
not be associated with his name.’
