Memorial to martyrs of Artsakh war opens in Martouni region

On 16 November Artsakh Republic President Bako Sahakyan visited the
Hatsi village of Martouni region and partook in a solemn ceremony of
opening a memorial complex commemorating the martyrs of the Artsakh
Liberation and the Second World Wars.

The President expressed his gratitude to all those who participated in
the construction process and stressed the importance of having such
memorials in honor of the martyrs perished for the sake of freedom and
independence for patriotic up-bringing of the younger generation,
preserving national values and historical memory.
