Armenia’s National Security Sec Meets President Of Switzerland

ARMENIA’S NATIONAL SECURITY SEC MEETS PRESIDENT OF SWITZERLAND

Secretary of Armenia’s National Security Council Artur Baghdasaryan,
who is on a working visit to Switzerland, held a meeting with President
of Switzerland Ueli Maurer.

The sides discussed Armenian-Swiss relations, Armenia-EU cooperation,
issues of regional stability, Armenian-Turkish relations,
Nagorno-Karabakh peace process.

Mr Baghdasaryan and Mr Ueli Maurer also discussed the priorities of
Switzerland’s OSCE chairmanship scheduled for next year, need for
further development of bilateral relations as well as other issues
of mutual interest.

Mr Baghdasaryan also held meetings with Christian Catrina, Head of
Security Policy, General Secretariat, Federal Department of Defense,
Civil Protection and Sport (DDPS), and Yves Rossier, State Secretary,
Federal Department of Foreign Affairs. The sides discussed the policy
of maintaining regional security and peace, application of relevant
mechanisms.
