Six Armenian Weightlifters Disqualified For Doping

SIX ARMENIAN WEIGHTLIFTERS DISQUALIFIED FOR DOPING

The World Weightlifting Federation’s latest list of disqualified
sportsmen includes six Armenians.

Five of them will not be entitled to participate in international
competitions until February 2015. One weightlifter, a female, has
been disqualified for life.

The disqualified Armenian weightlifters are:

Andranki Karapetyan (bronze medal winner, 2013 World Youth Cup)

Gor Minasyan (2013 World Youth Cup vice champion)

David Gasparyan

Ashot Begazyan

Margarita Ghazaryan

Naira Harutyunyan

This year’s list includes a total of 40 sportsmen.
