President-elect Giorgi Margvelashvili spoke on phone with Israeli PM
Benjamin Netanyahu, who congratulated Margvelashvili on election
victory, Georgian president-elect’s press office said.
It said that the president-elect and PM Netanyahu, who invited
Margvelashvili to visit Israel, have pledged to further boost
bilateral ties.
On October 31, Margvelashvili plans a meeting with Israel’s Deputy
Foreign Minister Ze’ev Elkin, who is in Tbilisi for a regional forum
of Israeli ambassadors.
