Armenia’s Ministry of Urban Development has developed unique mechanisms
of wasting budgetary resources, the paper says, citing a document
close at its hand.
It claims that the ministry has spent an equivalent of $1,500 million
(600,000 Drams) for nothing more than having nine cars washed.
“Judging by the amount, the ministry cars are washed three times a
day. It would be unclear otherwise how the 600,000 Drams was spent
given that the price for washing one car averages between 1,500-2,000
Drams (approx $4-$5), the paper comments.
