Rostelecom Plans To Invest $26 Million In Armenia By 2017

ROSTELECOM PLANS TO INVEST $26 MILLION IN ARMENIA BY 2017

YEREVAN. – Russia’s state-controlled Rostelecom plans to invest $26
million in Armenia by 2017, company’s president Sergey Kalugin said
in Yerevan.

On Thursday Kalugin met with Armenian PM Tigran Sargsyan to discuss
company’s projects in Armenia.

Premier Sargsyan welcomed Russian company’s activities in Armenia
and expressed government’s support for the implementation of the
Rostelecom projects.

Sergey Kalugin hailed Armenia’s infrastructure in the field of
communication, noting that his company plans to present its services
in the Armenian towns.

The sides discussed company’s possible engagement in the venture
foundation and already functioning free trade zone.
