ACTIVIST WAS TAKEN TO HOSPITAL WITH SUNSTROKE

Country – Tuesday, 06 August 2013, 09:54

Suren Sahakyan, one of the young activists of the sit-in at the City
Hall, was taken to hospital on August 5 with very high temperature.

Doctors diagnosed sun stroke. Note that over the past 11 days the
police has not allowed the participants of the sit-in to put up a
tent or an umbrella. Doctors at Saint Gregory Illuminator Hospital
requested the activist to use the paid services of the hospital or
leave. Today morning he was asked to pay. Suren Sahakyan checked out
and went to the City Hall with a catheter on his arm. Suren Sahakyan’s
state of health has not changed.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
