ZHAMANAK: OLIGARCHS PLAN TO SPEND THEIR HOLIDAYS IN MONACO

Against a backdrop of the civil struggle against the public transport
fare hikes in Yerevan, the deputy of Republican Party of Armenia (HHK)
faction, bus line owner Samvel Alexanian and the leader of Prosperous
Armenia Party (BHK) Gagik Tsarukian along with their families plan to
leave for Monaco to spend their holidays there, sources of ‘Zhamanak’
daily say. As is well known, previously they preferred Dubai.
The paper adds that Samvel Karapetian, who is the godfather of the
children of Alexanian and Tsarukian, is likely to join them later.
When the daily’s correspondent called Alexanian yesterday to clarify
that information, the latter switched off the phone.
