ARMENIA MARKS AVIATION DAY WITH AEROBATIC MANEUVERS (PHOTO)

YEREVAN. – Armenia marked Aviation Day on Friday by a demonstration
of equipment and aerobatic maneuvers at Erebuni airport in Yerevan
(photos).
In his speech, Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan underscored role of
the air forces in ensuring territorial integrity, independence and
security of the country.
“We managed to win the imposed war,” he emphasized.
The audience watched an hour-long show of aerobatic maneuvers. The
show especially attracted children who were allowed climb the aircrafts
and sit in a cockpit
“I can say that the air defense and aviation have carried out their
task from the early days of establishment of the army,” Seyran Ohanyan
told reporters.
