Armenian-Greek Military Cooperation Has Increased – Defense Minister

ARMENIAN-GREEK MILITARY COOPERATION HAS INCREASED – DEFENSE MINISTER

YEREVAN. – Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan on Wednesday received
Greek Ambassador to Armenia, Ioannis Taghis.

The minister noted that Greece is one of Armenia’s strategic partners
and the cooperation between the defense ministries of both countries
has increased, the Armenian MOD press service informs. He added
that the high-level visits, which are planned for this year between
Armenia and Greece, will be an additional impetus for the development
of this cooperation.

In his turn, Ambassador Taghis assured that Armenia is an important
strategic partner for Greece and he will assist in the strengthening
of the Armenian-Greek military cooperation.

The interlocutors also discussed other matters of mutual interest.
