CLEARING LISKA?
According to Panorama.am, the military prosecutor Gevorg Kostanyan
said during the ongoing press conference that the governor of Syunik
Suren Khachatryan was not at the crime scene and was not involved
in the shooting. Kostanyan says video recordings of cameras near the
house prove that.
Note that in the result of the shooting in front of the house of
Syunik governor, Avetiq Budaghyan, former candidate for mayor of
Goris, was shot dead, and his brother Artak Budaghyan, commander of
the Askeran regiment, was injured. The governor’s son and bodyguard are
detained. The case is investigated by the military investigative body.
