Andrias Ghukasyan: We are planning to create a new party

The country is in political and economic crisis, and the critical
atmosphere in society can lead to serious clashes, former presidential
candidate Andrias Ghukasyan told today’s news conference.
According to Ghukasyan, the opposition field needs rearrangement, and
the current parties have to be reconstructed.
`New opposition parties are necessary. The existing parties show
inability to be transparent and democratic,’ he said.
Andrias Ghukasyan noted that he has social-democratic ideology but is
not going to join any of the existing parties.
`We are planning to create a new political party by the end of the
year,’ the former presidential candidate said, adding that he himself
will not lead it.
