There are 5,715 names on the voter register roles that have no
residence information – no house number or street.

For example, the address of 22 voters registered at polling station
4/02 in Yerevan’s Arabkir District is merely `Kanaker Chilfren’s
City’.

Another 289 in the sdame district are registered as residing in the
`Kanaker Tunnel’.

Another 18 are registered as residing in the `Dosaaf Restaurant’ in
Davtashen Neighborhood 3.

We found more than 100 names listed on the Arabkir rolls that show
residences outside Yerevan, in Etchmiadzin or Kasakh in Kotayk.

Today at the Media Center in Yerevan, Varuzhan Hoktanyan, who heads
the Transparency International Anti-Corruption Center presented some
of the initial results obtained under a project called `The Electronic
Monitoring of Voter Numbers’.

Accordingly, there are 2,505,279 voters in Armenia between the ages of
18 and 103. There are 145 voters over the age of 100.

There are 49, 896 voters over the age of 18 with no information
regarding their birthdates.

Hoktanyan pointed out that the names of many who have left Armenia and
have been removed from the registry still appear on the voter rolls.

He added that in his view the February 18 presidential election
couldn’t be considered competitive.
