YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 1, ARMENPRESS: Armenia’s presidential candidate,
leader of union for “National Self-Determination” Paruyr Hayrikyan’s
recovery will last 7-10 days . St. Gregory the Illuminator
Medical Center deputy director Gagik Manukyan told the reporters
” The operation passed well, Paruyr Hayrikyan health condition is
satisfactory. He is a bit sleepy. He will awake within a few hours”.
In the words of Gagik Manukyan the patient has no pain, the
consciousness is normal, he will be taken to general department in
two-three days . The surgery was performed at 10:30 am, Armenpress
reports.
Presidential candidate, leader of union for “National
Self-Determination” Paruyr Hayrikyan has been shot in Tpagrichner
street, Kentron district of Yerevan on January 31, late night.A
criminal cases was filed refer to assassination attempt against Paruyr
Hayrikyan, legal proceedings were instituted under Article 34-305 of
the Criminal Code of Armenia (attempted murder of statesman, political
or public figure, committed for termination of his activities shall
be punished by imprisonment for a term of ten to fifteen years or
life imprisonment).
