Turkey must review its policy on protocols – Armenia’s ruling party

YEREVAN.- In terms of Armenia-Turkey rapprochement, 2012 can be
characterized as a year of waiting, head of Armenian parliament’s
standing committee on foreign affairs Artak Zakaryan told Armenian
News-NEWS.am.

Although no efficient moves were made, Armenia repeatedly confirmed
its position on the issue.

`Armenia states its readiness under condition that ball is in Turkey’s
court and Ankara has to take efforts to restore confidence. Turkey
must respect the signature under the protocols and review its
position,’ he said.

As to Armenia’s stance, Zakaryan said refusal from drastic steps is
explained by calls of the international community.
