14th applicant for Armenia’s presidency

The number of applicants for Armenia’s presidency has reached 14.
Robert Aharonyan, an unemployed man without party affiliation, has
applied to the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) of Armenia.
He is a `communist in spirit’ and is supportive of the `USSR-2′ idea.
At a press conference he claimed he would receive 70% of votes.
Among the presidential candidates are Armenia’s incumbent President
Serzh Sargsyan, Armenia’s ex-premier Hrant Bagratyan, Chairman of the
Heritage party Raffi Hovannisian, Chairman of the Self-Determination
Union Paruir Hairikyan, ex-FM of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR)
Arman Melikyan, Chairman of the National Concord party Aram
Harutyunyan, as well as Vardan Sedrakyan, Mher Hairapetyan, Andreas
Ghukasyan, Pavlik Sargsyan, Narine Lazarian, Taron Abrahamyan, and
Robert Simonyan.
