TRANSPARENCY INTERNATIONAL APPLIES TO ARMENIA’S NA’S ETHICS COMMITTEE AGAINST REPUBLICAN PARTY MP

Ethics Committee of Armenia’s National Assembly has received an
application-complaint from Transparency International organization
against Republican party’s MP Mher Sedrakyan.
The information has been confirmed by member of the Committee Davit
Harutyunyan who though did not elaborated on the issue.
At an extraordinary four-day sitting when a reporter approached
Mher Sedrakyan to ask a question the latter told him to go away and
threatened to “tear his jaw.”
Later, as a result of joint struggle of reporters, Sedrakyan came up
with a statement expressing his regret over the incident.
Asked when the issue will be discussed, Davit Harutyunyan said the
sittings are being appointed by the chairman.
