Earthquake registered near Armenia’s Ararat

A 5.2 magnitude earthquake hit today the Iranian north-eastern sector
near the border with Turkey, US Geological Service has reported.

The quake’s epicenter is 11 km south-west from Iranian Khoy settlement
which is rather close to the Armenian town of Ararat, Ararat province.
Armenia’s Emergency Situations Ministry has too reported about the
earthquake.

The quake has been registered at 10.38 am local time. The hypocenter
was in 2.8km depth. No casualties have been reported yet.
