REGULAR MEETING OF ARMENIA-EU DIALOGUE ON HUMAN RIGHTS HELD IN BRUSSELS

Yerevan/Mediamax/. The regular meeting of Armenia-EU dialogue on
human rights was held in Brussels.

During the dialogue, the delegations exchanged opinions on national
human rights protection system, judicial reforms, elections and
electoral system, freedom of speech and media, rights of vulnerable
layers of the population.

The delegations also touched upon the issue of cooperation in the
sphere of human rights in international organizations, particularly
in UN, OSCE and Council of Europe.

The Armenian delegation was headed by Deputy Armenian Foreign Minister
Zohrab Mnatsakanyan. The delegation also comprised Deputy Minister
of Justice Yeghishe Kirakosyan.

The European Union conducts specialized discussions on human rights
in 40 countries. Armenia-EU dialogue on human rights was launched in
2009. The meetings are held once a year.
