ARMENIAN-LEBANESE RELATIONS ARE BASED ON GOODWILL, MUTUAL RESPECT AND TRUST. ARMENIAN PRESIDENT

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 26, ARMENPRESS: Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan
has arrived in Lebanese Republic with an official visit. Bilateral
negotiations of Presidents Serzh Sargsyan and Michel Sleiman,
afterwards with the participation of delegations from the two states,
took place after the official reception ceremony of Serzh Sargsyan
held in Lebanese presidential residency.

As Armenpress was informed from the Armenian presidential press office,
negotiations were concluded by the document signing ceremony.

Agreements on “Visiting each other’s territories with diplomatic and
official passports without visa” and “Mutual recognition of academic
degrees and certificates of higher education” have been signed.

After signing the documents Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan planted
a tree in the presidential garden as a sign of friendship between
Armenia and Lebanon.

The results of negotiations of Armenian and Lebanese Presidents
held in presidential residency were concluded during the joint press
conference.
