Thirty-three officers of one of the military units in Kotayk, Armenia,
had housewarmings on Thursday.
Armenia’s Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan handed the keys to the
owners of one- two- and three-roomed comfortable flats.
Minister Ohanyan congratulated the officers and their families.
Armenia’s leaders, as well as Ministry of Defense, are keeping the
spotlight on the improvement of conditions of service for officers.
“A close-knit and prosperous family is the best guarantee of the
Homeland’s loyal servicemen,” Minister Ohanyan said.
“I am grateful to you just as you are grateful and I am congratulating
you. Before getting the flats, you have been honestly serving the
Homeland,” he said.
This year, one more residential building for servicemen is to be put
into operation in Armenia’s second largest city, Gyumri.
