THE CONSTRUCTION OF TALIN SECTION OF THE NORTH-SOUTH HIGHWAY WILL BE ACTIVATED NEXT YEAR
YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 13, ARMENPRESS. The deputies of the National Assembly
of the Republic of Armenia addressed their questions to the Minister
of Finance of the Republic of Armenia during November 13 session
of the National Assembly. As reports “Armenpress” the deputy from
the parliamentary group of the Republican Party of Armenia Sukias
Avetisyan stated that he highly appreciates the program of construction
of the North-South Highway, notwithstanding he cannot understand why
the construction of the highway did not start from Ashtarak-Talin,
Talin-Gyumri section, which is the most urgent.
The Minister of Finance answered that there have been questions
regarding the realization. The Minister said: “There had been problems
regarding to the arable lands in that section. They referred to
the property and compensation. Financially the problem is solved,
but there are still several issues regarding the inventory.”
The Minister of Finance of the Republic of Armenia noted that the
construction will be resumed as soon as these problems find appropriate
solution and Talin section will be in the centre of their attention.
