ARMENIA TO INCREASE NUMBER OF PUBLIC BEACHES

YEREVAN. – Deputy PM of Armenia and Board Chairman of the Sevan
National Park Armen Gevorgyan convened a session and discussed
financial-economic activity of the Park for the past nine months of
the year.

Director of the Park A. Gndoyan touched in particular upon the
implementation of the public duties. Also the issue of public beaches
was discussed. It was stated that despite the fact that there are
already 11 beaches, demand on their increase is great and their number
requires to be increased.

As for the beach cleaning works, a new company won the tender and
they will soon start implementation of their duties.
