Artsakh Parliament expressed gratitude to New South Wales

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 27, ARMENPRESS: The National Assembly of NKR issued a
message to the upper chamber of the Parliament of New South Wales
state. As reports Armenpress referring to the press service of the
Parliament it was mainly noted in the message `We were informed about
the resolution adopted by You which recognize the right of
self-determination of nations with a deep feeling of gratitude. It is
over 20 years that our nation has founded its sovereignty in the
historical homeland and aims to be recognized by all international
democratic norms and find its place among the partnership of free
sovereign nations. We are sure, that the international recognition of
Nagorno-Karabakh Republic will play a crucial role in the settlement
process of the conflict between Artsakh and Azerbaijan and will be
conducive for durable regional peace. The resolution which You adopted
encourages that responding to initiative of Parliament of New South
Wales state Australian federal authorities will also go to an
equivalent step taking into consideration the right of nations’
self-determination. Greeting Your resolution, we hope to form
intergovernmental relations between NKR and Australian government”.
The letter was signed by factions and parliamentary group of NKR NA.
